Welcome to Mrs. Abuyo's 3rd Grade Class!

Parents Please Read- The front pocket of the binder is designated for important notes that need to be looked at immediately. Some of these may need to be signed and returned. This is also were the Press Release and Homework Hotspot Packet are located.

Reading Journal- Each night students are expected to write down the title of the book and  how many pages read.

Poetry Journal- Poetry that students have read in the classroom are kept here.

Classroom Calendar- This information is a reference tool. The calendar is subject to change at any time. Please read the notes as they come home. Some may need to be signed and returned. The yearly classroom calendar is here as well. Students are expected to write down upcoming events on the classroom calendar.

Lunch Calendar- Each month a new lunch calendar will be sent home. Please leave it in the sheet protector.

Homework Hotspot Help- The "No Excuse" Words are the words frequently found in books that children read. These words are words that students should easily recognize and be able to spell correctly on written assignments. Please leave these in the binder. These words can easily be made into flashcards. Study Aids- These papers are study aids to help your student with reading, writing, or math.

Yellow Folder- This folder has been designated to hold all those important items that need to make it to school safe and sound. Please place any completed assignments brought back to school to be graded,  notes to me, and any lunch money, field trip money, etc into this pouch. Please ensure that any $$$ envelope is labeled with Student's Name, amount, and purpose.
